In Thirds

There's a great TED talk I watched (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bB_fVDlvhc) that suggested we should spend 1/3 of our time with people greater than us (1/3 of time with people at our level, and 1/3 of people that can learn from us). I wonder if that is why Christians are encouraged to read scripture and pray. It's good advice, though, for all people. We can learn much from those who have gone before.
